CS Mitchell Ltd has held a Recognised ISO9001 certificate for a number of years, during these years the processes and procedures that ensure the quality of CS Mitchell’s service to their client has been refined, tweaked and altered to ensure the quality of the product or service CSM provide. The process and progress of the Quality Management system has taken place with the Aid of continuous professional development from the Directors of the Company, Core staff members and, in Recent Years, External Advisors.
Recently CSM has moved even further in its Development and has gained both ISO14001: 2015 and OHSAS18001:2007. CSM, with the aid of external advisor and its core management team, will be converting their OHSAS 18001 to ISO45001. CSM shall make the alterations as the standard requires ensuring their continued compliance to the standard.
Highway Electrical Registration Scheme
The competency of organisations and their employees working in the highway electrical industry has a direct bearing on the health and safety of people working in the industry. The highway electrical sector has embraced the need to address their H&S record and under the leadership of the Highways Agency has established National Highway Sector Scheme 8 (NHSS 8). National Highway Sector Schemes are integrated management systems that have been developed, as a partnership, by all sides of the highway industry to interpret ISO 9001 as it applies to a particular highway activity. There is a strong element of Health, Safety and the creation, assessment, monitoring and review of competence in those schemes that cover service provision.
ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System
ISO 9001 is a recognised standard for Quality Assurance. Having ISO9001 Accreditation means that CS Mitchell Ltd has met or exceeded this standard. The standard calls for a robust system that the business can follow to ensure the quality of the product or service CSM provide.
ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management System
ISO14001 is a recognised standard for Managing CSM’s environmental Impact. Having ISO14001 means that CS Mitchell Ltd has met or exceeded this standard. The standard calls for a robust system that the business can follow to ensure that the impact, through CSM’s acts or omissions, has on the environment is reduced or mitigated in its entirety.
OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System
OHSAS 18001 is a recognised standard for managing the Health, Safety and wellbeing of the companies impacted persons, including their Staff, the Public or any others person affected by the companies acts or omissions. Having OHSAS 18001 means that CS Mitchell has met or exceeded this standard. The standard calls for a robust system that ensures the health, safety and wellbeing of those affected by CSM’s work activities. This standard will be changed in the near future for the New ISO45001:2015 Standard.
SSIP / CHAS - Safety Schemes In Procurement / Contractors Health and Safety
SSIP / CHAS is a membership for assessment schemes with an aim to reducing duplication in the procurement sector of contracts and awarding of contracts. Having this membership also reduces costs associated with spending time filling our procurement forms. This membership will work well with ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 to reduce the time spent completing contractual forms.
FORS – Bronze Fleer Operator Recognition Scheme
FORS is an accreditation scheme that encompasses all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations of CSMs Fleet. Having been approved for bronze, CSM has been deemed to measure and monitor the performance of their fleet and implement any improvements that are necessary including training, competency checks and reduction in emissions.
FSB - Federation of Small Business
The FSB offer their members advise, support, aid and help small the medium sized business’, this includes Finance, documentation, Health and Safety and workplace pensions. CSM uses the FSB for help with the Work Place Pension of their staff.
